Establishing Erasmus cooperations
Establishing Erasmus cooperations
International Affairs has put together all the information that FAU lecturers should consider when signing a new Erasmus cooperation agreement. The information below applies to both the KA103 funding line (programme countries) as well as the KA107 funding line (partner countries) of the Erasmus programme.
Step 1
- Start (year) and duration of the cooperation agreement
- Number and level of students to be exchanged
- Teaching language, semester dates and course catalogue
- Language requirements and academic requirements for students, only for study or also for final theses
- Teaching mobility
FAU lecturers should discuss the plans in their department in good time, seek approval from the head of department and involve the current Erasmus coordinator of the department during further planning.
Step 2
Step 3
If International Affairs receives a request for a partnership from a foreign university, it forwards it to the appropriate department at FAU with the request to check it and provide feedback. International Affairs then informs the foreign university of whether their request has been accepted or declined.
Please note that countries or departments cannot be freely selected in the context of programme funding line KA107 for partner countries, exchanges are only possible in those countries and departments where currently valid FAU applications have been accepted.
