Service Internationalization
FAU Internationalization Service

S-INTERNATIONAL – International Affairs provides support to students, teaching staff and employees for stays abroad and expressly encourages these exchanges. As set forth in FAU’s internationalization strategy, exchanges between FAU and international partners are an integral part of the University’s mission statement.
On the following pages, we have put together a great deal of information that should help you and your staff to plan a stay abroad and provide you with some support in setting up cooperations with international partners. We have also consolidated everything you need to know about Erasmus+. You will also find help and advice for when you are receiving guests from abroad.
Please note that there is not always a clear-cut difference between mobility for teaching staff and employees, for example both employees and teaching staff can receive funding from Erasmus+ STA and Erasmus+ STT.
Other important information for international subject coordinators in the departments (mostly in German):
- Guidelines for the transfer of credits (also from abroad)
- Guidelines for setting up double degree programs
- English guidelines and terms
- Services related to foreign languages at FAU
Please also read the information about staff mobility and research.
