Useful things at work
There are a number of tools and pieces of equipment available to you to make your work at FAU easier. This includes essentials such as your FAUcard or your IdM username, but also handy optional extras such as computer glasses, work cell phones or ergonomic work equipment. The FAUbox provides you with extensive cloud storage.
Digital and connected working
The topic of digitalization really came into its own when it came to coping with the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic. A lot of us are no longer working in the office all of the time. This entails a new way of working and is changing the way we work in teams. Refer to the pages “Digital working at FAU“ and “Connected team working“ for aids, tools and tips aimed at helping you digitize your work and making easier to work together as a team.
IT support from the Erlangen Regional Computing Center (RRZE)
The RRZE is FAU’s internal IT service. Staff at the IT helpdesks and service desks are on hand to provide expert and rapid support on all IT-related questions. For example, the RRZE offers support for video conferencing tools, e-mails or software orders.
